Andor, named after my favorite Star Wars character, was a holding company active from 2020 to 2024. We worked on tons of ideas with one win (a jewelry brand), a lot of failures, and many good lessons
Assorted highlights:
Dropped out with my two closest childhood friends, hopefully our moms have forgiven us by now :D
Raised a tiny seed round from a NASDAQ-listed CEO (took 3 cold emails to get a response but changed my life)
Put most of our capital into $META at $115.29 on 11/16/22 after realizing I couldn't stop watching Reels, held to $700+
Took on a bunch of consulting work to pay the bills, from public equities research to building software MVPs, and accidentally discovered what we enjoyed working on (and more importantly what we didn't)
Built a women's jewelry brand (last person who should've done that!) that sold $1M+, along with an endless list of failures like a skincare brand, a simplified tablet for seniors, weekly letters about history for kids, a deals site, and so many more
Thanks to everyone who was a part of Andor's journey
